Nancy Campbell had an awesome quote from Charles Spurgeon on her Facebook status earlier. I made a quick print out for my wall and thought I would share it.

Burzynski, The Movie Watch it FREE until June 13!!! **UPDATE! Now Free Until June 20!!**

I don't have time to write this post, but here I am anyway.

I just found out that there has been a movie made about my Dr. The Dr. I went to when I walked out of MD Anderson 5 years ago because all they would offer me was chemo. Dr. Burzynski took me, I was on his therapy for 1 month and then for financial reasons and at the recommendation of Burzynski, I dropped his therapy and did chemotherapy because MD Anderson would not cooperate with his clinic and allow me to take PB and AminoCare while on the chemo. I know without a shadow of a doubt that if I had not taken the PB first, my outcome would have been drastically different. As most of my readers may know, I have had 2 children since my cancer treatments 5 years ago. My Dr. at MDA told me that I beat the odds. They didn't really expect me to recover from lymphoma. I am so thankful that I did.

Here is a 3 min clip of the movie.

The full movie can be seen online for FREE only until June 20, 2011. It can also be purchased at a discounted rate until that time. To watch the full movie, click below. To purchase, go to Burzynski, the Movie

True Woman '10

Okay, maybe I am a bit late in posting about my time at the conference, but I wanted to post about it anyway. And to share some exciting news for all those who didn't make it, or even for those who did.

I had an amazing time. I was encouraged, convicted of my own sin and challenged to seek the Lord in a deeper way in my everyday life. I was blessed to sit at the feet of many godly, radical women who are totally sold out to Christ and who are not afraid to speak the truth of God's word. I was very encouraged to see the nearly 4,000 women who attended the conference. I felt a bit like Elijah, seeing all the ones that the Lord had reserved for Himself who had not bowed the knee to Baal. In the weeks that have followed the conference, I have had the words of all who spoke following me around and echoing in my ears.

The exciting news is that they have made ALL the True Woman conferences available online, to listen to for FREE! Or you can read the transcript. Video is not up yet but will be soon. Everything is also available for purchase. Click here to go to the messages.

Get Free (or nearly free) Household Items!

Like I have said before, I love getting good deals and passing them on. Today I had one passed on to me, and so I would like to pass it on to those reading my blog!

I follow, "Surviving the Stores" on facebook, and today she posted a deal where you could get 2 bamboo cutting boards for free! Well, by the time I got in to get mine, the free ones were gone, but I got 2 bamboo cutting boards that I personally liked even better for $1.95 shipped!!!

The deal I got is now gone, but there are more deals coming up. Here is how to get in on it.

Go to Ones Kings Lane and sign up for free. Just basic sign up info... You will get a $15 credit to your account, just for signing up.

If you shop the sales and find an item you like for $7-$10, you will end up getting it for free or almost free when you checkout. Your credit will apply toward the shipping charges.

Tomorrow there will be a sale starting on some atisan cheeses! I am hoping to snag a deal on that...

If you snag a deal, I would love to hear about what you got! Leave me a comment telling about your awesome deal!

FREE Lamplighter Theatre Audio Drama

I don't know how long this will be availible, but this is something you won't want to miss.

At our house, we just love audio drama. Paws and Tales, The Pond, Adventures in Odyssey, Down Gilead Lane, Jonathan Park are a few of the shows we like to listen to. (Many of these can be heard on HisKidsRadio.net.) We also love to listen to audio books, old radio drama, etc. This past year, we have been really enjoying Lamplighter Theatre.

Lamplighter Theatre has some amazing audio dramas, all based on old books, which they have reprinted and have available as well. These are not only entertaining stories, but very deep, challenging and character building. Go here to look at their player and check some out for yourself.

Right now, Lamplighter is offering the complete audio drama, "A Peep Behind the Scenes" for free. You can listen to the whole program or download it here. This is something for all ages, old and young, although, I will say the for the very young, it may be good for mom or dad to listen first and decide if their little one is ready.

Enjoy!
